This is a fantastic bench for the price!! We use it for shoe storage in our foyer and it really looks attractive. It's perfect for sitting down to put on/take off shoes. Was happy to find out the bench lids do not slam shut as i thought they might. Thought the short bench back height would bother me too but it doesn't at all for our use. Only minor negative is the particle board panels in the front of the storage box (in between the slats) - you can tell it's not wood, but only if you look for it. Really can't complain at this price though - overall great buy.

Entered problem online... easy, but not very reassuring, then replacement part arrived and I could FINALLY complete the project. Final results were good. But this issue should NOT have occurred.

This bench looks great by our front door. We store extra hats, mittens,scarves,
etc in it and still have alot of room in it. It was very easy to assemble. My only concern is the the bottom board in the storage bin isn't that sturdy, I wouldn't recommend storing any heavy items in this.

I was pleasantly surprised after assembling the bench, which turned out to be better designed and finished than I expected. This is one sturdy bench made entirely of rubberwood. The only particle board is the bottom shelf inside of the storage box. It easily holds me, and I weigh 260 lbs. It is better than some I have seen in stores at triple the price...
